Ordering from The Perfume Palace
Orders can be placed through our website, www.bersandi.com or by telephoning +44 (0)118 9505100 or faxing on +44 (0)118 9576300 during office hours, which are currently 9am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday.
UK Order Processing and Despatch times:
Any telephone or web orders, whether placed on a working day, a weekend, or a holiday, will not be looked at until the next working day. Once you have paid for an order, any changes will be treated as a new order. If items are out of stock we will contact you.
International Order Processing and Despatch times
Only UK orders can be taken on the website. Any international order placed over the telephone, by fax or by email, whether placed on a working day, a weekend, or a holiday, will not be looked at until the next working day. Once you have paid for an order, any changes will be treated as a new order. If items are out of stock we will contact you.
UK Despatch times
Most in-stock orders are despatched from our offices within 1-3 working days Monday-Friday (may take longer in busy periods and for larger orders). We cannot guarantee despatch times for situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. Depending on the size and value of your order, we will either send your parcel using Royal Mail's 1st Class service or Parcel Force.
UK Delivery times
If your order is despatched by: Parcel Force - allow 1-2 working days for delivery after despatch; Royal Mail, 1st Class - usually takes 1-2 working days for delivery after despatch but delivery times can vary with Royal Mail for various reasons. Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you on delivery.
International Despatch Times for Europe (outside Mainland UK) & the rest of the world
Most in-stock orders are despatched from our offices within 7 working days Monday-Friday (may take longer in busy periods and for larger orders). We cannot guarantee despatch times for situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. Your parcel will be sent by international courier.

Once parcels are despatched by us, delivery times can vary from country to country. Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you on delivery.
The postage for orders for mainland UK is FREE for orders over £30.
The postage for orders under £30 is £5.50 (excluding VAT).
Europe (Outside Mainland UK) & International
P&P costs are calculated based upon your shipping zone and the weight of your order.
UK and International - Arranging your own courier
If you wish to arrange your own courier (available for certain countries only), please make sure that your contact details in your customer profile are correct before submitting your order or we will not be able to inform you or your courier company when your parcel is ready for pick-up. Once the payment for your goods has been accepted we will contact you to give you the dimensions and weight of your parcel and to let you know that your order is ready to be picked up by the courier you have arranged. Please ensure that your parcel is collected within 7 days of us contacting you.
IMPORTANT: We cannot be held responsible for any delays to your order once the goods have left our premises.
We endeavour to only display products on this web site which are in stock. However, all products and services are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled within our usual despatch time you will be contacted. It may (but very seldom does) happen that a product is discontinued after you have ordered it, in this case you will be given a full refund.
Payment can be made by PayPal and also by any major credit or debit card, except for American Express.
Prices, Quotes and Bulk Orders
We endeavour to ensure accurate pricing on our website. Prices are subject to change without notice and our website has the most up to date prices. Prices are quoted in UK Sterling (£) without VAT. VAT, if applicable, is added during the checkout process.
Whilst we do not impose minimum order quantities, ordering items in bulk can result in substantial savings. Should you require a bulk order quote, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will happily provide you with a quote and availability. For bulk orders, any price commitment is made on the placement of your order only.
VAT is calculated and added during the checkout process. Please note that there is VAT charged on shipping to the UK and EU as we are obliged to do so.
VAT - UK customers/shipping address
VAT will be added to your order for all UK orders at 20%. We are obliged by HM Revenue & Customs to charge VAT on your order.
VAT - EU Countries
VAT will be added to your order unless you provide us with a valid VAT identification number that is valid for import/export in the country you live in. If you do not provide us with a valid VAT number, then we are obliged by HM Revenue & Customs to charge VAT on your order.
NOTE: There may be non-VAT related import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that The Perfume Palace cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office.
VAT - International Orders (any non-EU country)
International orders outside of the EU do not incur VAT, however, there may be import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that The Perfume Palace cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office.
Customs Duties and Taxes
There may be non-VAT related import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that The Perfume Palace cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office. The Perfume Palace cannot be held responsible for any Import or Customs Duties or Taxes charged by your country.
The Perfume Palace aims to offer 100% satisfaction. We will be happy to replace any faulty goods or redress any errors that we have made in connection with an order. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of placing it with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer) but any goods may be returned within 14 days from the day they are received providing they are unopened and unused. If they are unopened and unused or you cancel your order before we send out your parcel, we will be happy to refund your full payment, excluding return postage costs (if applicable). This is in addition to your statutory rights. If there are any claims, errors, or discrepancies, these must be reported as soon as possible, and within 14 days of receipt of your order.
Many customers want to know why they can't get a refund on a product that they have opened but not used and wish to return to us. The reason is that we can no longer guarantee the quality of the product once you have opened it and so we cannot sell it to someone else. If you are unsure that you are going to like the smell or consistency of a product, we suggest that you buy a small quantity first to test it. Due to the time and high expense involved, we regret that we cannot send samples.

Lost or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us in writing or by email at orders@Perfume Palace.co.uk. In the case of non-delivery, please wait for 7 days after despatch (UK and EU countries) or 15 days from the date of despatch (non-EU and International) before contacting us. In the case of damage please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and return the product to the following address The Perfume Palace, 3-5 Cremyll Road, Reading RG1 8NQ. We will either: refund you the postage costs, give you credit towards your next order or arrange our courier to pick up the damaged goods (for heavy parcels).
Items missing in your parcel
If any item is short delivered and has been charged for, The Perfume Palace will cover the cost of freight in resending the goods as soon as is possible.
If your parcel is returned to us through no fault of our own, we may charge you a redelivery cost. Please ensure that you give us correct delivery information when ordering.
